About this item
An excellent pair of WW2 Zeiss U Boat Commander’s 8x60 Binoculars known by collectors as “The Fat Ones”.
Recently overhauled by Optrep they present an excellent picture, the lenses clear and in collimation the only point of not being a pin head sized chip on the outside of one objective lens which in on way affect the viewing.
The Rauhlack finish and paint are original, the Raulack with very minor loss which shows well in the pictures, the Benutzer lens cover appearing to be an original example.
Markings on the right prism cover, 8x60, the serial number and blc.
A nice unmolested and original pair of U Boat glasses.
