      During wartime the 'RAF Comforts Committee Voluntary Worker's contributed to the war effort by knitting woollen garments such as socks, jumpers and scarves etc for the Royal Air Force.   These will be sent via royal maker 1st class signed for and dispatched within 2 working days.
