1945 Dated Canadian Flying Suit by Deacon Brothers Canada

A 1945 dated Canadian Flying Suit by Deacon Brothers Ltd. Belleville Canada in a medium size.

Futuristic in design it resembles later US made suits and is constructed in a smooth green cotton cloth with woollen cuffs and ankle sections.

Working full length zip to one side down to the foot and with a second shorter opening down the right leg, both legs with a large patch pocket closed with a flap and press fastener. A diagonal zip at each hip gives access to internal clothing. There is one flapped pocket on the left breast.

Beneath the collar is a cross strap to hold the collar up when needed by means of a single button (missing) on the opposite collar underside. A small number of moth nips to the wool collar

The interior is blanket lined with a fixed braces arrangement.  

There is some light mothing to the woollen sections,  all zips are in working condition but would benefit from the application of a little candle wax to make them run better. Overall condition is very good with one or two marks.

Measurements, (approx) shoulder to shoulder 50cms, arm pit to arm pit 58cms, sleeve 62cms and crutch to ankle 71cms.
