WW2 RAF G-TYPE OXYGEN MASK. A lovely lightly used example of the ever-popular and desirable G-type oxygen masks. As issued to RAF and Commonwealth aircrew during WW2.
A lovely example of the iconic RAF G-type oxygen mask, it really is a very nice example with no issues to report. The rubber of the mask is very soft and pliable, with no serious cracking or splits we can see. The nose wire and harness retaining wire are both in place, with all the small rubber tabs in excellent condition without damage. Fitted with a very nice and clean Type-48 microphone, without issues or damage. Inside the mask has a very clean chamois lining showing little wear. To the bottom side of the mask, it is marked with A.M in the rubber molding and marked as a size Medium. Overall a lovely mask that would display well with a flying helmet. Ideal for any RAF museum, collection, or display.
