A good 1907 Pattern SMLE Bayonet.
The pommel bearing unit markings of "OX .D. 25" presumably for the Oxford Depot.
The top mount also bearing the number "25" so a good original matching set.
This example produced by Wilkinson, the date now obscured, but with reinspection dates of 1923 and 1935. The blade with signs of service sharpening. All the metalwork now in the "white" with no original finsih remaining.
Housed in its original leather scabbard with steel mounts.
