A scarce Mk I Three Rivet bayonet, for the Lee Metford rifle.
A used and carried example, which has been service sharpened.
Hardwood grips secured by three rivets, some bumps and bruises.
A plethora of date and other marks at the ricasso, showing a long service life.
Housed in a very good, Land Pattern MK II steel mounted leather scabbard with integral frog, with some wear to the rear.
