    About this item

Soldbuch to Unteroffizier Reinhard Tile of the 1st Corps district signals. The Soldbuch is non uniform, dated 1/10/1945. There are no Wehrmacht units listed, but he is attached to POW unit 6 COY (Wehrmacht).
Active service - it is reasonable to assume that Reinhard belonged to a Nachrictentruppen, which must have seen service on the Eastern front. He was wounded in August 1942. He was entitled to a wound badge in black and the winter war medal 1941/42.

After VE Day it is assumed he was involved in administration across Germany working with the British forces. Full history and translation is included within the photographs. An interesting Soldbuch which was used as POW ID.
