A Wehrpass to Unteroffizier Xaver Penzkofer of 5/Infanterie Regiment 290.The wehrpass has the photo removed dated 4/4/1940. He served with his unit from 1940 on occupation duties in France, moving to Russia in July 1941 and was killed in action 3/10/1942 near Nordi Upolosy.
He was decorated with winter war medal 1941/42 and the EK2.
According to available information, his grave is in Upolosy / Wjasma- Russia. This wehrpass represents a standard German infantryman who gave his life in Hitler doomed attack in Russia. Full information is attached in the photographs.
