This is a large press photograph of the pre-invasion and the D day naval force with glider borne troops, crossing the channel above ships of the Royal Navy. In the background of battleships Warspite(left) and Ramillies (June 6). This photo has been folded with pinholes to the corners, so average condition, however this is an incredibly rare image of operation, overlord. The photograph measures 38 x 31 cm.
