About this item
An excellent example of a double sided Luftwaffe Officer’s Car Pennant as flown on the left wing or fender of any vehicle in which an officer of an unassigned unit (eg. Flak, signals etc) was travelling.
In very good + condition it measures 390mm in length by 230 at the hoist end excluding the fixing loops.
The field is a blue / grey smooth cotton with a second pattern eagle machine embroidered in silver thread, the features picked out in black. Mounted on a wire frame the cloth is encased in celluloid, all three sides finished with an imitation blue leather border to provide protection against water ingress in foul weather.
A beautiful display item it would prove difficult to upgrade.
