    About this item

    A post war Australian made Battledress tunic, in a large size 15.  Looks to be new-old stock, as it is unbadged and essentially in mint condition. Made by A. K. L. and dated 1952.

    Size 15 is for 6ft height, 42-43" chest and 37-38" waist.

    The Australian Army did not wear BDs during World War Two but did produce them for other allied nations.  In terms of style, the tunic is closely related to the 49 Pattern British Battledress.
