For sale is a WW1 3rd Battalion West Riding Regiment Embossed Crest Letter Head. This is in good condition and measures 3.75mm in diameter. This comes in a hard plastic wallet to protect it from damage.
About 3rd Battalion West Riding Regiment: The 3rd Battalion of the Duke of Wellington's Regiment (West Riding) was a militia battalion in the British Army. Following the Childers Reforms the 6th West York Militia was redesignated as the 3rd & 4th Militia Battalions of the Duke of Wellington's Regiment. In 1890, these two were amalgamated to form the 3rd Battalion of the Regiment. In 1908, the battalion was transferred to the Army Reserves as the 3rd (Reserve) Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Boer War (1899-1902) The 3rd (Militia) Battalion served in South Africa from 17 January 1900 to 28 May 1902, arriving into Cape Town on 23 March 1900 These will be sent via royal mail 1st class signed for and dispatched within two working days.Additional Information
