About this item
A very interesting original Second World War REME Nederland shoulder title. This is a theatre-made example manufactured in the Netherlands.
Owing to shortages of badges (many of which had been given away as souvenirs), a significant number of badges were commission and made locally. These Dutch made badges are very distinctive given their fully woven 'Brabant weave' cotton construction.
An interesting and rare badge.
