Coronation (Police) Medal 1902. Metropolitan Police. (P.C. R. POTIPHAR. B.DIV.). Bronze issue. Awarded Police Constable Robert Potiphar who served with ‘B’ Division was awarded the Coronation Medal 1902 Metropolitan Police. Information available indicates Robert Potiphar was born in Ingrave, Brentwood in Essex in 1856. Robert Potipher joined the Metropolitan Police in 1879 serving in ‘C’ Division and ‘C.O’ and later ‘B’ Division. He served with the Met until he resigned in 1905. (with copy overview notes).
