An original 1941 dated Royal Air Force 1937 pattern webbing holster in good condition.
This pattern of webbing holster came into issue with the RAF during the Second World War. It is the same as the British Army version but made in RAF blue-grey coloured webbing material. This has been treated with a coat of RAF coloured blanco. The original markings are still present to the inside face of the flap and includes the 1941 date and the maker's initials 'M. W. & S Ltd' which denotes the Michael Wright & Sons Ltd.
A nice original wartime dated holster in good condition and with an excellent period applied blanco finish.
