A rare unissued Canadian made felt water bottle cover in the rarely seen buff colour.
Water bottle covers were made in this light buff colour during the Great War and were still used in the early part of the Second World War by the BEF amongst others. They are now very rare to find today which makes these Canadian made examples very sought-after as they make an excellent stand in. The cover is stamped with the Canadian broad arrow surrounded by a 'C' found on all Canadian military items from this period.
The overall condition is good with some signs of age etc. Please study the pictures before purchasing and remember that this is a vintage, pre-worn item which has some small flaws commensurate with age.
A rare item to find which could make a good stop-gap for an original.
