A scarce original 191st (Hertfordshire & Essex Yeomanry) Field Regiment Royal Artillery formation patch and accompanying period unit history.
These two items we're acquired by myself from the son of one of the officers of the 191st who served in Normandy in 1944 and subsequent battles until the end of hostilities. He is listed inside as one of the officers of the regiment and both the patch and paperwork belonged to him.
The formation badge is a good original example which is hard to find today. The unit history is also scarce, albeit fairly breif. Both items are in good condition for their age.
A rare piece of Nomandy period insignia which is missing from many collections and attributed to a member of the unit.
