This is an original British Airborne helmet net dating from the 1970s which is in good condition.

This has been made using a helmet net which is designed to fit onto an airborne helmet as is illustrated in the pictures. It has been fitted with pieces of hessian to aid in breaking up the silhouette of the helmet.

A nice original period item which displays well and could be added to an airborne helmet.
