An excellent example of a 1939 dated British Mk11 Brodie Helmet with netting Helmet cover.
The netting is in excellent condition and although I have not removed it, the shell is clearly without damage and appears to have a rough khaki coloured finish.
Inside, the rim is stamped OT 1939, the date repeated on the chinstrap mountings. The liner is very good, the tongues remaining supple and without damage although the bump pad is now quite hard. I found it impossible to photograph the stamps on the liner band but it is faintly marked, G.S. & W 1939 size 7. The chinstrap is very good
A good early and untouched Helmet.
