A high quality, private purchase horsemans knife, with chequered horn grip scales, by Mappin&Webb of Sheffield.
This is marked on all three of the main blades, as well as the "Trustworthy" logo.
Measuring 4.5 inches overall, when closed, not including the loop.
The whole is in very good condtion, showing only light signs of wear. and use However, one of the smaller blades has been snapped off/broken. The pick and tweezers are still present in thier housing. In need of a gentle clean.
This example comes with the bonus of its original leather case. There is a faint name inside the flap, which appears to be "G.A. Burgoyne". There is a Gerald Achilles Burgoyne who served with the 3rd Dragoon Guards during the Boer War.
