About this item
A good clean example of an original 1971 dated British Standard Issue or MK 5 Kukri.
Marked "Ordep Nepal 1/79" at the ricasso, for "Ordnance Department January 1979".
Horn grip, with brass bolster, and brass butt plate.
This example is in the harder to find dress/parade scabbard, complete with frog, chakmak and karda. The latter are in poor condition and will need some cleaning and attention.
Blade length 10.5 inches, 15 inches overall.
Hard to find ordnance originals, among the minefield of copies.
