About this item
A WW1 period Military kukri in need of some TLC. The grip has a split running to from the steel bolster to the central grip ring which requires attention. The hardwood grip with central grip ring is crowned with a steel pommel plate fixed with a diamond keeper. No chips or serious loss.
The blade and metal work is covered in rust, grime, and is in need of cleaning. I cannot see any significant issues, and I suspect that it will clean up rather well, and without the need for a great deal of effort. A good stress free project.
Blade length 12.5, overall length 16.6 inches.
