UNISSUED AND ORIGINAL WINDPROOF 'TROUSERS DRAB' SIZE 4

This is a pair of un-issued and unused Windproof Trousers Dessert Drab. 

They were introduced in 1942 with a matching smock in the same material.  Based on the denim design used by the SAS and the Long Range Desert Group.  It was produced in two different materials.  This pair are made from the lighter fabric

Trousers feature a drawstring at the waist and a front map pocket.  This fastens with a chocolate plastic button, this is broken but have a replement one.  Both the knees and seat are re-enforced. Also there are two side pockets

The original label is still there and it states size 4.  Designed to be worn over a uniforms so are cut loose.

There are storage marks on the rear left handside of the waistband and on the hip, but will possibly come out with a damp cloth if you dont wish to wash.
