About this item
An original British Army Khaki Drill Bush jacket which dates from the 1940s.
The jacket is typical of the era in many ways. It is made from a khaki coloured cotton drill and is fitted with butterscotch coloured revolving shank buttons. Breast pockets feature scalloped flaps and flapped pockets can be found on the skirt. Epaulettes are located to the shoulders and the original waist belt with black painted metal buckle is still present.
The jacket will suit someone of around a 37" chest and when laid flat measures -
Chest - 20 1/2"
Waist - 17"
Inside arm - 20 3/4"
Outside arm - 26 1/2"
Shoulders - 17 1/2"
Length 31 1/2"
The tunic is in very good condition as can be seen in the pictures. It only shows very limited signs of wear and use and overall has a very fresh and clear look. It is of course a vintage, pre-owned item so may have small issues commensurate with age. Please study the pictures before purchasing.
A nice original KD tunic in good condition and complete with its matching waist belt.
