Phoenix Vintage Antique & Militaria Fair
11 Barton Cross, Waterlooville, PO8 9PQHeld at Barton Hall, Horndean Technology College near Waterlooville, this event is run by Sara Hughes of Phoenix Antiques, who set up the Vintage, Antique & Militaria (VAM) fairs after more than 30 years trading in the antiques business, including many years running her own shop in Petworth. The Barton Hall date sits alongside her original Petersfield fair as one of two established VAM venues.
The fair brings vintage, antique and militaria dealers together under one roof, offering a genuinely varied mix that might include a dress or a uniform, a necklace or a bayonet, all in the same hall. Free parking and refreshments make it a comfortable venue to spend an afternoon browsing, with a modest £2 entry fee and free admission for children.
Combining three collecting interests into a single event has proved popular since Hughes launched the concept, giving Hampshire collectors a genuinely distinctive fair to look forward to.
