About this item
115) An original WW2 Christmas greetings card from the Allied Forces, Land, Sea and Air. This is a large size 8 Inches X 7 1/2 inches and reading the rear shows that it was for conversion into the tiny aerograph photographic cards send home by troops. It has the correct 3D stamp to the rear which was the cost of the Aerograph being made and posted. The rear states that these sheets were kept for 3 months and then destroyed so they must be fairly unusual. The printing date is for September 1944. It has a centre fold and is dirty to one quarter of the rear but is in good condition.
