With a quotation from this book states these dice are “An example of a hollow Bakelite dice thought to have been used to smuggle items into prisoner of war camps. While the removable section is now damaged due to frequent removal, when new, the seams would have been much more difficult to detect.” The final photograph shows the dice in the book, unfortunately the compass is not included and the price is for one dice.
