About this item
91) Excellent Original WW2 RAF & Army Issue Throat Microphone Low Level No2 MKII In Issue Box. The box is the original but the staples have rusted and it could do with being glued back together. We did not fully remove the mics as they may be hard to get them back in the box neatly. The mics look excellent as are the elasticated straps and metalwork. All is nicely marked to the bridge of the nose. The wiring is the original and feels supple. The plug on this is an RAF plug to fit the female plug to the side of the flying helmet. The rubber around the top of the plug has hardened a little but all pretty good. This is sold as found untested. These were used with various army wireless sets but also used by some RAF pilots as is the case with this set.
