96) An interesting slightly unusual WW2 era RAF rank armband. This is a properly made armlet of blue cotton but is pretty small. maybe a cadet in the ATC or a girl in the WAAF? Strangely the rank stripes are very small too. they are only 3 inches across.We have added a photograph of it next to a standard size rank stripe to show scale. It measures 5 1/4 inches wide when laid flat.
