About this item
An original Canadian Jungle Green Bush Jacket in good condition.
This pattern of tunic was produced during the 1940s and 1950s and was intended to be worn with a matching set of trousers made from the same green dyed cotton drill material. It is cut in a typical bush jacket style with pleated breast pockets to the chest and flapped bellows pocket to the skirt. The front fastens with four large plastic buttons and more are located to the chest pockets and cuffs.
Inside the tunic there is evidence of where a label has previously been fitted. There are no other markings I can find.
The tunic will suit a 38" chest and when laid flat it measures -
Chest - 21 1/2"
Inside arm - 16 3/4"
Outside arm - 22 3/4"
Shoulders - 17 3/4"
Length at rear - 28 1/2"
The jacket is in good condition with some signs of wear and use. Overall it displays well but please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that it is a vintage, pre-owned item which may have small flaws commensurate with age.
A nice original Canadian made example in good wearable condition.
