Original 1964 Dated British Military Jungle Green Aertex Undershirt - Size 3

An original British military V-Neck Aertex shirt in green which was made in 1964.

This shirt is made from cellular cotton, often referred to as 'Aertex', which is a lightweight, breathable fabric which is ideally suited to hot climates and exercising. It was a popular choice for British military wear for these reasons. The shirt features a V-Neck opening around the neck and short, capped sleeves.

Inside the top the original label is still present and bears the manufacturer's name and the size as 3. To the bottom of the label the date is present which appears to be 1964, and the War Department broad arrow marking is also present.

The top is a smaller size which will fit around a 34" chest depending on desired fit. When laid flat measures -

Chest - 17"
Shoulders - 15"
Length - 29"

The overall condition of the garment is good with no real signs of wear or use. It displays well and is totally wearable but please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that it is a vintage, pre-worn item which may have small flaws commensurate with age.

A nice original 1960s British military undershirt which is in great condition.

This is a vintage item which is 'sold as seen'
