Original 1967 Dated British Military Jungle Green Aertex Undershirt - Size 3

An original British military V-Neck Aertex shirt in green which was made in 1967. 

This shirt is made from cellular cotton, often referred to as 'Aertex', which is a lightweight, breathable fabric which is ideally suited to hot climates and exercising. It was a popular choice for British military wear for these reasons. The shirt features a V-Neck opening around the neck and short, capped sleeves. 

To the rear of the top the original label is still present and bears the manufacturer's name and the size as 3. The 1967 date and the War Department broad arrow marking are also present. 

The top is a smaller size which will fit around a 34" chest depending on desired fit. When laid flat measures - 

Chest - 17 1/2"
Shoulders - 16"
Length - 29"

The overall condition of the garment is good although there are a number of machine repairs which are evident in the pictures. It displays well and is totally wearable but please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that it is a vintage, pre-worn item which may have small flaws commensurate with age.
