Original 1967 Dated US Army OG-107 Jungle Fatigue Jacket

An original 1967 dated United States Army OG-107 Jungle Fatigue Shirt in a size medium short.

This pattern of shirt saw widespread issue during the Vietnam War period and is instantly recognisable today. It is made from a poplin cotton and the front of the shirt fastens standard US Army plastic buttons and four patch pockets are located to the front of the shirt, which again fasten with the same type of buttons. The pockets feature an inverted box pleat which allows them to expand. 

Inside the shirt still retains both of its labels. The one fitted to the neck bears the size of 'Medium - Short' which is designed to fit between a 37" and 41" chest. The second label bears the title 'Shirt, Man's, Cotton, Wind Resistant, Poplin, Olive Green Shade107'. As well as this it bears the DSA number of 100-67-C-1909 which dates the shirt to 1967. 

The shirt will suit around a 40" - 42" chest depending on desired fit and when laid flat it measures - 

Chest - 23 3/4"
Inside arm - 21"
Outside arm - 23 1/2"
Shoulders - 18 1/4"
Length at back - 29 1/2"

The shirt is in good condition for its age with some limited signs of wear. It displays well and is still totally wearable with one machine repair to the rear as illustrated in the pictures. Please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that this is a pre-owned military jacket which may have small flaws commensurate with age.
