About this item
An original United States NavyN3 Herringbone Twill fatigue jacket in good condition which dates from the Second World War.
The jacket is made from the standard green coloured herringbone twill material used for many US military workwear items during the Second World War. The jacket features three patch pockets to the front and the front buttons have been replaced with period rivet style buttons. There is a stencil to the rear which reads 'D. B. Metz' and another to the interior.
The jacket is a larger size which will fit someone of a 48" chest comfortably, depending on desired fit. When laid flat measures -
Chest - 27 1/2"
Inside arm - 20"
Outside arm - 23"
Shoulders - 22 1/4"
Length - 29"
The jacket is in good overall condition with some signs of wear and use. There is some staining but it presents well and is very wearable. Please study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that this is a vintage, pre-owned item which may have small issues commensurate with age.
