Early Post WW2 American Legion “Drive Carefully” Enamel Sign

For sale is an Early Post WW2 American Legion “Drive Carefully Protect Our Kids” Enamel Sign. This dates to the early 1950s and is in mostly good condition, some damage to the enamel which can be seen in the photos for more details. This measures 35.5cm width x 51cm height. 

  The American Legion, commonly known as the Legion, is an organization of U.S. war veterans headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. It comprises state, U.S. territory, and overseas departments, in turn made up of local posts. It was established in March 1919 in Paris, France, by officers and men of the American Expeditionary Forces (A.E.F.).
