About this item
An original pair of Royal Air Force Blue wool socks by different makers.
These came along with the pair listed below and were clearly worn as a pair, even though the labels don't match. They are same size and it would not have been uncommon for them to be worn like this.
One sock was manufactured by 'A. B. Ltd' in 1958 whilst the other was made by 'Broxa Redg' in 1955. Both labels bare the War Department broad arrow marking and the size - 11 1/2.
The socks are in well used condition with original period darns and some holes. Please study the pictures and remember that these are a pair of pre-owned worn socks!
A good addition to an RAF collection, for the serious collector.
