    Correctly named Pair 55213 Dvr JA Doe RA

    John Alfred Doe was born to James and Elizabeth in July 1899 in Epping, Essex.

    His father was a foundry labourer and we find the family in 1911 living at Clarks Row High St Epping, Epping, Essex.

    John enlisted into the Royal Field Artillery in December 1914 aged 15.

    He was sent overseas to France with 4th Reserve Brigade on the 26th of August 1915 earning himself his Trio. He had just turned 16.

    He was eventually discharged due to sickness in March 1918 and awarded a Silver War Badge numbered 406288 (not present).

    His address upon discharge is noted as 8 High Street, Epping, Essex.

    In 1921, he is a patient of the neurological hospital in Tooting.

    We see in 1921 he also married Emily Maria Walden. He was in 1925 to marry Winifred Alicia Nash.

    He died in 1959.

    All medals have original long silk ribbons.
