    An interesting item that we obtanied from the U.S.  Comprises an American V-Mail envelope with a postal stamp dated 2 December 1943 and sent from P.F.C. C. E. Baumann Jr., Asn. 37218380, 1099th Quarter Master Company.  Inside the envelope is a lace edged handkerchief with silk trim, bearing a motif of Britannia sitting above an embroidered "Royal Norfolk Regiment".

    This appears to have been a souvenir that a U.K. based American serviceman sent back home to relatives.
