Published perhaps unique 25 Panzer Assault Badge. "Semihollow Juncker Riveted Number Box"

A published and quite possibly unique example of a 25 Panzer Assault badge referred to as a “Later Semihollow Juncker, Riveted Number Box”

This very Badge is featured on page 816, Volume 11 of Philippe de Bock’s excellent work, The German Panzer Assault Badge of World War 11, where he describes it as  “ so far the only example known to the author, this badge clearly features a riveted number box”. The rivet used matches the two aluminium rivets used to attach the tank to the back plate.

Constructed in zinc, the silver finish has been substantially absorbed into the metal as is so often the case. The Badge itself though is in very good condition and without damage, the features remaining crisp and showing no appreciable wear.

The pin set up is again free from damage, the wire non magnetic round catch on a circular plate is also shown on page 814.
