About this item
An original British First Field Dressing dated January 1940.
This style of bandage was carried in the FFD pocket on the battledress trousers and inside the Ordinary Ranks SD tunic and Ordinary Airman's tunic during the Second World War. This example has a nice early date making it ideal for anyone collecting 1940 Battle for France or Battle of Britain related items.
In good condition with some signs of age etc.
