About this item
Unit marked "T. 6. OX 279" to the pommel denoting issue to the 6th (Territorial) Oxford and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.
Even patina to the pommel and scabbard mounts, with some light scratches to the mounts. Pommel catch working but stiff.
This example looks to have been produced by Sanderson, dated 1917. Various other markings, last reinspected in 1939, so it may well have served twice. The blade with signs of service sharpening.
Housed in the standard leather scabbard with steel mounts.
A good untouched bayonet in need of gentle cleaning, but should improve well.
Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
