  The British Army issued machetes during World War II to soldiers who were engaged in Operations. Kitchen of Sheffield was one of the manufacturers of the machetes that were issued to the British Army during World War II. Sheffield, England was known for producing high-quality steel products, including blades and knives, and was a natural choice for the production of military machetes.   The British Army WW2 issue machete by S.J. Kitchen of Sheffield was a high-quality, durable tool that was designed to withstand the rigors of warfare. It had a long, blade that was sharpened on one side, and a handle made of wood.
