    For sale is a Early Post WW2 British Army 1946 Machete by S & J Kitchin Sheffield.

      The British Army issued machetes during World War II to soldiers who were engaged in Operations. These machetes were used to clear vegetation, cut through thick undergrowth, and help build and fortify positions.   S.J. Kitchen of Sheffield was one of the manufacturers of the machetes that were issued to the British Army during World War II. Sheffield, England was known for producing high-quality steel products, including blades and knives, and was a natural choice for the production of military machetes.   The British Army WW2 issue machete by S.J. Kitchen of Sheffield was a high-quality, durable tool that was designed to withstand the rigors of warfare. It had a long, blade that was sharpened on one side, and a handle made of wood. The machete was often carried in a scabbard, which was attached to the soldier's belt or webbing.   This machete is marked with a broad arrow and clearly dated 1946, it’s also marked on the handle.    This will be sent via 1st class signed for and dispatched within two working days.     On checkout, please sent us a copy of your passport/ driving license proving that your over 18 years of age.
