A completely untouched pair of medals, still boxed and in the original envelope, with the letter of conveyance.
Correctly impressed, to "2. LIEUT. L. C. GARMENT."
Leonard Charles Garment, served firstly as 4974 Acting Serjeant in the Hampshire Regiment, and was then commissioned into the 10th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers.
Originally from St Albans, he was killed, aged just 21, on the 21st of March 1918.
He is remembered on the Arras Memorial.
