Early example with 22 inch slightly curved single edged blade with etched cartouche "1st DEV 19"
The same regimental designation is repeated on the top mount of the scabbard. (lacking its press stud)
Brass cruciform hilt with trefoil finials with VR monogram to the centre..
In its original brass & leather mounted scabbard with no shrinkage.
The sword 27 ½ inches overall.
An excellent example of this early type of bandsman's sidearm, with the bonus of carrying the regimental markings.
Strictly over 18's only.
