About this item
A good model 1909 Turkish Cavalry Troopers Sword.
Quite a scarce sword to find, this example with basket guard, piecred with the Ottoman Star and Moon device. Bolted grips of chequered wood.
The 33 inch blade of pipeback form, likely of German design, with makers marking in Turkish script at the forte. The blade culminates in a quill point.
No scabbard.
Not an easy sword to find, this example was bought along with several other Turkish weapons brought back by the same soldier.
Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched. Please send this at the time of ordering, to prevent unnecessary delay in your order being dispatched.
