93) A good original US army 1902 pattern sword knot. this is very similar to the WW2 Japanese sword knot but is apparently WW1 US army. the leather is pretty good but does have some hardness and surface cracks so needs to be handled with some care and not bent in half etc. the top loop is slightly darker as someone has started to treat it with leather treatment and is not due to the leather being old or damaged. A good treatment to the whole thing would not hurt and may soften it up a bit better. it is a little strange as the knot has a built in whistle. the whistle is of wood and in good working order.
