Original 1930s Elastolin Adolf Hitler Composition Personality Figure – Third Reich German

An original pre-war Elastolin Adolf Hitler personality figure, manufactured in Germany by O. & M. Hausser, circa 1930s.

This period composition figure depicts Hitler in the familiar brown NSDAP uniform with black boots, cross-strap and belt, red Party armband and raised right arm. The figure retains considerable original painted detail, including the facial features, uniform fittings and armband.

Of particular interest is the underside of the circular base, which carries the raised moulded ELASTOLIN manufacturer's mark, confirming its manufacture by the famous German toy company Hausser.

Elastolin produced an extensive range of composition military and political figures during the 1920s and 1930s. Their named personality figures depicting prominent political and military leaders are particularly sought after by collectors today and provide a fascinating insight into the political toys and propaganda material produced in Germany during the period.

Features include:

Original O. & M. Hausser Elastolin manufacture Adolf Hitler personality figure German manufacture Circa 1930s Traditional composition construction Brown NSDAP uniform Red Party armband with swastika Raised saluting arm Moulded and hand-painted facial detail Original circular green/grey base Clearly moulded ELASTOLIN mark beneath

Condition:
Good original period condition with age-related paint loss, rubbing and general wear throughout, as clearly shown in the photographs. There is visible separation/wear around the shoulder of the raised arm, consistent with the articulated construction of these figures, although buyers should study the photographs carefully for condition. No attempt has been made to repaint or improve the figure. The arm is fixed in postion so I would guess and break and glue at some point

An increasingly collectable example of an original Third Reich-era German Elastolin personality figure, particularly desirable alongside other Hausser political and military figures of the period
