About this item
1937 patt OFFICERS battle dress trousers. A scarce pair of trousers, but unfortunately not in the best condition.
This is a pair of trousers dating from early WW2 for battledress with original plastic buttons. Early 1937 patt private purchase for an officer in a fine wool. Still has the leather inserts on the ankle
As you can see it has had a number of repairs to the left leg. This was as found and not done by me. It used material taken from the rear seam, then inserted in back to front so looking at it you can see it does not match the leg. Moth holes to the crutch, two small ones in the right leg and a larger one in the posterior. This could be put right and made presentable.
It has all bar one the original buttons except for a lone replacement on the fly.
50p not included.
