About this item
A very nice pair of New Zealand made battledress Trousers in a good size 10 with a waist size of 32” and inside leg measurement of 31”. Please note, I do not guarantee sizes.
Following closely the British pattern they have the large flapped and buttoned map pocket on the left leg and dressings pocket on the right side, a slash pocket at each side and a single flapped back pocket. The fly is closed by 5 buttons with a 6th at the waist with six internal buttons for the braces. There are 4 large belt loops and buttons to secure the Blouse. All buttons are in place.
Each leg terminates with a cloth strap and two buttons for adjustment.
Overall condition is very good. There is some moth damage at the crotch and one notable moth hole on the right leg.
New Zealand made Battledress was also worn by UK troops and supplied as War Aid clothing and were generally considered to be of better quality that their British made counterpart
