About this item
An original Second World War printed Hertfordshire regiment shoulder title manufactured by the Calico Printers Association.
The Hertfordshire regiment was a regiment in the territorial action consisting of only 2 battalions. The 1st saw extnesive action in Italy, including Monte Cassino. The 2nd Battalion landed on Gold Beach on the 6th June 1944, but was disbanded only a few days later.
A rare title from a territorial regiment with an impressive wartime history!
